MANOCOMB certified up to SIL3

Functional safety according to IEC 61508 / IEC 61511.

The proven pressure monitors and safety pressure limiters of the MANOCOMB series are certified with immedate effect for the employment in process pressure monitoring according to IEC 61508 / IEC 61511 to SIL2 (as single device) as well as to SIL3 (in the combination of 2 devices).

The approval applies in addition to the already existing approvals according to: Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC, VdTÜV Druck 100, TRD604, TRB403, DIN EN 1854, DIN DVGW 3398 as well as Gas Appliances Directive 90/396/EWG.

Safety Equipment for natural gas extraction

In 1950 the history of PINTER Mess- und Regeltechnik GmbH begins - former Metz Reglerbau was founded in Mannheim, Germany.

The product range comprised of manufacturing instruments for measurement and controls.
Within the following years the successful company grew and in 1964 the non-incorporated company became a capital company.

Until the 90s Metz is expanding its range of products and services, such as plant engineering and construction.

In 1998 PINTER Mess- und Regeltechnik GmbH takes over the so called "Pressure Switch Devision" from former Metz Mannheim GmbH located in Schoenbrunn, near Heidelberg.

These days the main product of the "Pressure Switch Devision" was the proven and internationally renowed MANCOCOMB precision pressure switch, which were developed further and modernized after the company take-over.

Today, the manufacturing range comprises a comprehensive set of pressure instruments and related accessories.

Since 2000 the steady growing business unit "Systems", develops and designs pneumatic and electro-pneumatic controllers as well as complete systems and customer specific solutions for pressure measurement.

The medium-sized, family-owned enterprise is located within the industrial and technolgy park (TECH-N-O) in Obrigheim and is run by Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Richard Pinter and Mr. Dipl.-Kfm. (FH) Ingo Pinter in two generations.
